About the Programme

The Investing in Young Businesses in Africa – Women Entrepreneurship for Africa (IYBA-WE4A) Programme is now open for applications!

This initiative supports women entrepreneurs who are building greener, more sustainable businesses across Africa. The program empowers founders with funding, mentorship, and capacity-building to scale their ventures while promoting environmental and social impact.


Who Can Apply

  • Women founders or co-founders based in Cameroon, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Senegal, Tanzania, Togo, or Uganda.
  • Entrepreneurs leading startups or SMEs in renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, eco-tourism, or other green sectors.
  • Applicants passionate about scaling businesses that create lasting impact for people and the planet.
