About the Role
U-recycle Initiative Africa is seeking a Research Associate to support the launch of its PlasticWize Behavioral Change Outreach, a nationwide campaign designed to inspire students across Nigerian campuses to rethink plastic use and adopt sustainable habits.
The successful candidate will lead research efforts, design and implement monitoring and evaluation (M&E) tools, and support data-driven insights for sustainability projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement M&E frameworks for environmental projects.
- Track impact and performance metrics across university and community campaigns.
- Conduct field and digital data collection for sustainability assessments.
- Analyze research findings to guide strategy and decision-making.
- Collaborate with campaign teams to optimize outreach and behavior change efforts.
Ideal Candidate
- Passionate about environmental research and sustainability.
- Skilled in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with monitoring and evaluation tools (preferred).
