About the Opportunity
COYEC’26 invites passionate, visionary young leaders to join the organising team of one of Africa’s most dynamic youth-driven climate conferences. This hybrid, high-impact event will bring together changemakers, policymakers, innovators, and climate advocates to accelerate solutions for a more sustainable future.
As part of the COYEC’26 team, you will help shape a transformative experience—featuring keynote sessions, interactive panels, hands-on workshops, climate innovation showcases, and continent-wide youth contributions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Depending on your skills and interests, team members may support:
Program & Content Development
- Designing keynote sessions, interactive panels, workshops, and climate dialogues.
- Co-creating youth-centred themes and discussion tracks.
Operations & Logistics
- Supporting event coordination for hybrid sessions (physical + virtual).
- Managing registrations, schedules, partner coordination, and venue arrangements.
Communications & Outreach
- Creating compelling messaging for social media, newsletters, and media engagements.
- Engaging communities, climate clubs, universities, and youth networks across Africa.
Partnerships & Sponsorship
- Identifying, engaging, and supporting partnerships with NGOs, development agencies, climate networks, and private-sector supporters.
Innovation & Technical Support
- Supporting digital platforms, livestreaming, virtual tools, and conference technology.
