About the Role

Turner & Townsend, a leading international construction and management consultancy, is recruiting a CLC Lead to lead its Conventional & Low Carbon Energy business across West Africa. This strategic role involves shaping, expanding, and managing the firm’s energy consulting services in the region.

As CLC Lead, you will help define and deliver end-to-end energy consulting services, working with clients in both conventional and low-carbon energy sectors. You will lead business development efforts, steer project delivery, and build a strong consulting team to support growth across West Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business development: identify opportunities, develop pursuit plans, and secure new clients across the energy sector.
• Manage project delivery and resource allocation: recruit, deploy, and lead delivery teams to meet client expectations.
• Provide senior leadership and strategic direction for the CLC business across West Africa, contributing to organizational growth and regional presence.
• Act as principal contact for clients and stakeholders in the energy and natural resources sector, representing Turner & Townsend’s values and standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong background in Project Management, Project Controls, Quantity Surveying, or Engineering, with demonstrable experience in conventional & low-carbon energy consulting.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in senior consulting or advisory roles, preferably within Energy & Natural Resources.
• Proven track record in business development, client management, and winning projects within the consulting environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills — ability to convey complex energy-sector concepts to business stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to build and manage high-performing teams across multiple projects and locations.
• Willingness to travel as required within West Africa.
