About the Role
Inspired Evolution is recruiting an ESG Impact Manager to support Zafiri, its Africa-focused private equity and impact investment platform. The role is central to embedding environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles across investment activities while ensuring measurable development and climate impact.
The successful candidate will lead ESG integration, impact measurement, and reporting across portfolio companies, aligning investments with international ESG standards and impact frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ESG and impact management frameworks across investments.
- Lead ESG due diligence and ongoing monitoring for portfolio companies.
- Design and manage impact measurement systems, indicators, and reporting tools.
- Support portfolio companies in improving ESG performance and compliance.
- Prepare ESG and impact reports for investors and stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment with international standards such as IFC Performance Standards, SDGs, and best-practice ESG frameworks.
Requirements
- Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in ESG, impact investing, sustainability, or development finance.
- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, impact measurement, and reporting standards.
- Experience working with private equity, infrastructure, or climate-focused investments is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
