About the Role
APRI, a non-partisan policy research institute focused on African development policy and climate transitions, is seeking a Research Intern to support its Just Green Technology Transition research program. This internship offers hands-on experience in policy research, event coordination, and content creation to support sustainable technology and climate policy work.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and data analysis on topics related to green technology transitions in Africa.
- Write, edit, and contribute to analytical research outputs and program deliverables.
- Support planning and coordination of workshops, webinars, and events.
- Contribute to online content development, including databases, visuals, and communications.
- Provide general administrative and project support to the research team
Requirements
- Completed postgraduate studies in climate policy, technology policy, trade policy, economics, or a related field.
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills, especially on climate and green technology issues in Africa.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
