Leap Africa

LEAP Africa is one of Nigeria’s foremost youth-focused non-profits, committed to equipping young people with the skills, values, and opportunities they need to lead change. Their work is anchored on two central pillars: making secondary education work for young people, and raising a pipeline of talents dedicated to driving the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

They pursue this mission through a strategic approach built on ecosystem building, thought leadership, and advocacy. By connecting schools, communities, youth-led organisations, government, and the private sector, we create platforms where collaboration leads to scalable solutions. Their thought leadership is underpinned by extensive research, producing books, articles, reports, and papers that translate insights into practical action for individuals, organisations, and communities.

Over the years, LEAP Africa has impacted more than one million direct and indirect beneficiaries, with a presence in 26 states across Nigeria and eight African countries. They have published 11 action-oriented books that serve as practical guides for creating positive, lasting change. These resources, along with our programmes, empower secondary school students, young adults, educators, and practitioners to lead with integrity, creativity, and a sense of civic responsibility.

Their commitment is to raise leaders and strengthen youth agency across the continent, working towards an Africa where young people are not just beneficiaries of change but active architects of it. Through quality education, leadership development, and the activation of SDG-driven initiatives, we continue to nurture a generation of Africans capable of transforming the continent into the Africa of our dreams.
