Obudu Conservation Centre (OCC) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to protecting, restoring, and educating communities about the wildlife and wildlands of the Obudu region and the surrounding Cross River National Park, which extends into Cameroon’s Takamanda National Park.
Nestled amid mountain ranges, expansive forests, meadows, streams, and striking rock formations, OCC works to address the growing threats of poaching and deforestation. The Centre champions community-driven conservation and environmental education, empowering local communities to actively participate in preserving their natural heritage for future generations.
