The Waste Management Society of Nigeria (WAMASON) is a non-governmental professional organization, incorporated in 2005 (CAC/IT/No. 18515), dedicated to advancing waste management practices in Nigeria. Its vision is to safeguard public health, reduce pollution, conserve ecological resources, and promote innovative waste-to-wealth initiatives, including waste-to-energy solutions. The organization also strives to minimize the contribution of waste to greenhouse gas emissions and combat climate change.
